STOTT Advisory is not your usual stuffy, stiff upper lip kind of business consultant – and it was our challenge to bring that out in its corporate identity and website.
Founded by Andrew Stott for a change of scenery from the corporate world, STOTT Advisory is all in when it comes to supporting and advising their clients.
Our role was to create a visual identity that stands shoulder to shoulder with established brands in healthcare, technology and media industries, and to appeal to decision-making executives in their mid 30s to 40s. These executives have a great deal of worldly experience, and appreciate design, fashion and culture.
To represent harmony and balance in both traditional western and eastern thought, the identity's foundation is a hexagon.
The abstract S in the centre is a nod to the Chinese Yin-Yang symbol to take the theme further.
The final identity is modern and edgy, backed by the ethos of being 'anchored in Asia, delivered globally'.
Bearing in mind the profile of the target audience, it was important to craft a namecard that has a premium feel. We proposed a gold foil hot stamp finishing, with a blind spot UV to achieve an elevated effect.
Extending the STOTT brand into the online space, we created a sleek darker themed website with a highly visual, coffee table book experience, and interactive elements to engage visitors.
